The brief:

Each year the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre transforms into a toy haven for The Australian Toy Hobby and Licensing Fair where exhibitors showcase their latest and greatest toys, gadgets and games to importers and distributors. Triumph Leisure Solutions re-engaged SRC to custom build the Goliath exhibition stand ensuring their products would stand out.

How it was brought to life:

SRC created a distinctive 230 square metre exhibition stand which consisted of more than 40 custom walls, shelves, counters, flooring, plinths and even a dark room!

This build was one of the biggest stands at the exhibition. It featured an 8m x 3.6m wall built with flats and housing a mounted LED screen; a custom-built counter made from MDF, painted high gloss white with branding on the front and under lit with LED strip lights; and six rental plinths standing 1200mm high and 450mm square displaying various toys.

The rest of the build wrapped around and behind this stand.

This included a dark room that was created with black velvet drapes, custom-built curtain rails and flats enabling glow-in-the-dark toys to strut their stuff.

Custom walls with shelving were made of MDF and painted white. LED strip lights were installed above the top shelves to illuminate the products. White melamine flooring was laid throughout and one corner of the stand had astro turf to tie in with the outdoor toys on display.

What our Client thought:

This was the third consecutive year Triumph Leisure Solutions have partnered with SRC as a result of the success of previous years.
